Interesting thought from Mike Foster: Hitler didn't break the rules, but the Founding Fathers did.

We finally got into our new house last week!
I've been using the Windows 7 beta, and one of the features I like the best is the Windows 7 taskbar.
It has your quick launch programs, plus shows you which programs you have open. When you mouse over a program that has multiple windows open, it will show you thumbnails of the open windows. When you mouse over a thumbnail, it will show you the window that is open as well as make the other windows transparent. Very cool!!!!
To read more about it, go here.
Just some things that are going on with us right now:
Apparently I have a different definition of free. Mine isn't "sign up for two offers that you pay money for and if you cancel within 13 days we won't charge your credit card $69.99 monthly plus 9.99 shipping and handling with product to follow until we discover some other way to take your money. Then just get five friends to sign up for three offers, and have each of your five friends sign up five friends for three offers and after the people that you've signed up give us $2000 then we give you A FREE MACBOOK!!!!!"
Ephesians 1:5-6 "In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves."
There's no fine print.
But at least my teeth are whiter.
On Tuesday night at the Mesa campus, and on Wednesday night at the Gilbert campus, Cal announced that Central Christian Church will open two new campuses by fall of 2010.
Faced with packed facilities on Sunday mornings at the Gilbert campus, which is running 4000 after only being open since October of 2007, a new campus will open this fall at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, only one half mile from the Gilbert campus. This new campus will offer two services on Sunday mornings, a contemporary service at 9:30 and Third Format at 11:00. Student and children's programming will be offered at both. Fish taco aficionado Aaron Pennington will be the campus pastor. The teaching will be via video at 9:30 and in person with Jeremy at 11:00.
Thanks to our ARENA database, we recently discovered that over 3,300 from Queen Creek have attended Central, making Central the largest church in Queen Creek not in Queen Creek. So in the fall of 2010, the Queen Creek campus will open on the campus of Newell Barney Middle School (home of the Buccaneers).
Want to help launch Campo Verde? I'm taking names now and serving opportunities will be on the website soon!
